Max power from a c32

A C32 cannot produce anywere near those figures without having a pulley conversion done, a pulley conversion with DMS remap and filters is approx 70/80 bhp.If its had street race cams then theres another 20 bhp. I doubt such work was done it seriously.

My modded E55 showed over 620 bhp on RR 2 weeks ago after having more done to it, guy just could not get the power down.

I'll put a copy of my dyno curve on, and let you decide.

That would quite interesting to see. If it's the top of the curve and not a spike (mine spiked at 470 before normalising) - in which case that is some :rock: C32 you have there!

Did they switch the system into Dyno mode (for holding the gears)? fuel might also make a difference, as usually AMG recommend Premium bit I know I get a noticeablely extra kick from 100 octane fuel vs the 95 that is all that is available locally here, but you would have access to it in the UK.

It was premium. As soon as my scanner arrives I'll scan the curve and upload it. The guy At DMS was surprised aswell. My mate who is a specialist checked the car himself and was surprised.

Rob at dms was also suprised at my figures but doesnt mean they are accurate.

Trying to dyno an auto is a real pain especially if you've had some work done to it, even in dyno mode we were having difficulties.

Ill be seeing Rob at the fighting torque event tomorrow at woodbridge airfield,i'll ask him if he remembers anything about your car.

I have many dyno run down the years (I don't bother anymore!) but they are notoriously inaccurate. 450bhp from a C32 is "almost" unthinkable. Either you have a most amazing car or something is wrong somewhere. Still whatever the numbers enjoy your lovely car.

I've dyno'd a few cars and 450bhp at the wheels means over 500 at the fly - I think a C32 would indeed fly with that in it!

How does on report a post - or two, actually?

Look in the left hand column where the username is, then scan your eye downwards for a triangle with exclamation mark. I did it earlier but didn't post that I'd reported it.

Interesting that the OP with the 450 bhp C32 never did post his dyno curve ;)

I noticed that too! He's probably an adult now as it was back in '09
