MB bodyshop - Hampshire

I was rear-ended in the Merc on Thursday night. Roundabout with poor visibility (due to all the vegetation in the middle), went to pull away then had to stop as another car comes carving round. The lass behind me thought I had gone, wasn't looking the right way and.. crunch. Not an uncommon scenario, unfortunately.

Anyway, we exchanged details and her insurance company rang me 10 o'clock the next morning. They said there was no question over liability, they would pay for the damage caused and give me a hire car while mine was in the body shop. You could have knocked me down with a feather.

They said that I could either use their approved bodyshop or nominate my own, so I said I'd rather have it done by Mercedes (hopefully a better chance of it all coming back the same colour). I've got it booked in Monday morning at Tony Purslow in Basingstoke to get an estimate.

If anyone has experience of the quality of work done by TP's body shop, I'd be very happy to hear about it before handing over my pride and joy. Or if there is an alternative I should be taking the car to, I also like to hear about that too. Although the car's 7 years old, it's only done 58K and was immaculate until a couple of days ago...

Any info would be most welcome!

Ta, West Molesey is a bit of a drive for me as I'm the other side of Basingstoke. I'll see if TP seem like a good bunch..
