Can spectators come?
Have you asked any other tracks for prices , I know Castle Combe is much cheaper ?
Does it have to be Goodwood ?
Just say the word and i'll pay in full for April.
Chris, The cost of this day is £310, this is a non profit event, and I will tell you, this is a very cheap day for Goodwood, they are famously expensive, track wise, event wise, food wise. I was told ony on Tuesday by Katie Wingfield, who co ordinates bookings and circuit hire, that even their own "goodwood TDs" would be at a far greater cost. So these two days are great value. Secondly, its not a issure of people not wanting to pay. All the guys booked dont mind paying, initially, I thought we,d get the deposits sorted, of which some have arrived today, however on being advised about the contents of a contract I will be signing, last Tuesday, of which I had not been made aware of previously, its put a fly in the works.
But I think, given a few of the guys comments since, we will get it together, more than likely have to pay the full amount a little earlier than originally expected, but it would have to have been paid at sometime.
Thirdly, not fully appreciate were your going with "door fees", but if its to ask GW for a reduction in charges, I am afraid not a chance, the only way to make this cheaper, if thats the route people wanted to go, is to take more cars. Now getting more cars, grief, having more cars, less track time and 10 cars a session, I particually do not wish any of this, 25 cars, 5 cars a seession, is perfect, as for Goodwood, its a great track, everyone needs to experience a TD there once in their lives.
This said, are you intrested...?
Rick
lol i have oviously missed another thread lol and i agree track days are great and on this ocation i think i will pass but thank you for the offer. i dont mind a bit of a hecktic ground with watchers and racers and regarding the reduce prices i mearly ment that if GW had an open day cost that it be reduced to MB owners who turn up but as this is clearly a reasonably small gavering and that they already have given a nice price its best if we forget wat i said lol

Do you fancy organising a separate day at a different track?
Hi Ricky
It was nice to meet you this evening and would love to come along and spectate if that is ok.

Adam, if your up for it, as of last nights discussions with a few of the current paid up guys onboard at a meet, your very welcome. If so what date had you in mind, 29th April or 13 August..? Could you advise, just want to keep a tight handle on numbers.
Regards Rick
Be prepared fot it to break....
I want to be a sheep and go with the majority to get the most fun out of it (and kill Olly's overstated C43!), do you have a list for the people attending both days so I can choose please?
Prepare yourself for a beating my son...
