About 5 months ago 1 of my rear tyres a Conti started to fall to bits being less than 3 yeras old and having about 5mm left on them. The other was also starting to crack. My local MB told me that they would change them (I had to pay for 2 new 1's) and they would send them back to the manufacturers and ask for money back. they told me that I would get a letter through the post informing me of what's what in a few weeks from the manufacturers. Well a few weeks came and went so I went back to MB who said they would chase it. After serveral calls to MB over a few months I made 1 last call last week and asked to be called back as they were busy. I rang 4 days in a row no one ever got back to me so I decided that I would go in this week in person to find out what's going on and why no one ever called back. Well I got a call first thing this morning from MB service manager who apologised for not getting back to me sooner but it turns out that they sent the wrong tyres back and threw mine away!! Before I had chance to say anything he said as it's their fault would it be ok if they supplied and fitted new tyres the next time I need some free of charge?? My answer was ok if you insist you can change my front tyres to match the rears so next Monday I am having new front tyres fitted. Happy days.....................
