MB Lease Options W212

Hi Guys,

looking to pick up a W212 220 CDI on an operating lease from mb direct - Its the first time im getting a lease so a bit hesitant.

Just a couple of questions for you experts out there -

1. Opinion on MB leases - i.e. how they handle the return on the cars - are they very specific about the quality etc or do they take into account wear and tear internally and externally?

2. I test drove and went through the pricing for the 220 CDI and they have offered the following:

3+ 35 month lease @ £359+ VAT per month including free metallic + exterior styling pack

what are your thoughts on this offer? Any advice on dealing with them?

trust me their first price isnt their lowest. I went into get a B200 CDI sport off my local dealer and they came back with a price of £450 + VAT but thats with 25k a year servicing and tyres incl... i got them down to the £340 i wanted. Ask for more options as that price already sounds good to be fair.

Options normally put the price up as the car often has to be spec built, and most of the lease companies see no residual on the options. So if it's a £1k option for instance, that would be charged out + cost of fiunds over the term of the lease.

Yup they explained that - but the options are included as a special offer they are running on that link in my previous post.

Ok went ahead with the lease guys - MB Corp wouln't honour their Q4 pricing so the guys at Swiftlease got my business - good company to deal with and a cracking price at that
