Just wondered if anyone had tried this from what I can see for £199 you can take someone else's SL 63 around for an hour.

I did one of these experiences in the SL65, great fun but the track is very small and tight so you never really get to open the cars up fully.

Thanks I was thinking more about the wet section and getting experience on handling there as part of the package, plus if you do **** it up its not your own pride and joy.

They do more interesting (and more expensive) one at Silverstone: Mercedes-Benz UK - Driving Experiences - AMG Driving Experiences at Silverstone

Looks interesting but I'd like to experience the wet section handling at Brooklands plus its just up the road from me. I've done the track day thing with my RX7 and the like in the past so Brooklands seems to be worth a visit plus you can go next door to the museum.

I am booked in for the 1/2 day AMG experience in August. Starting to think i should have booked Silverstone instead.

I'm at brooklands 4 or 5 times a year & it's a great place but for track experiences silverstone wins hands down. Might be worth a rethink if you can cancel ?

Not many spaces left still at Silverstone for this year but as of last week there were still a few going if you can accommodate a Sunday. Dates are in July and September.

I'm signed up to take the GTs round in July :)

Having done Silverstone once before and had several goes at MBWorld I can confirm that Silverstone if more fun.

I also did the wet section stuff - basically it is an exhibition to show how good the ESP and ABS systems are. I had maybe 5-10 mins on the wet 'circle' and could not get the hang of it at all.
