Re. an annual subscription (sorry everyone!), I would be happy to agree to this. My annual membership fee of my Jag XKR club (xkec.co.uk) is £40 but that includes a membership card, wide discount on parts, sometimes labour and 4 quality newsletters p.a. etc

Am intending to join the Corvette Owners' Club and that is also £40 but again with many side benefits.

I would therefore expect to pay less for the current MBClub membership.

IMHO, an anonymous voluntary donation of any amount would be much better. Having a set mandatory charge would not be appropriate
