MBClub Member 'LoveDay' 2012 Mercedes C63 AMG-Complete G-Techniq Correction Detail.

I still don't get how that removes dirt from a car:o

Surely a shampoo and sponge are enough?

Sponge ? Natural or synthetic ?

Oh yes, the synthetic sponge is another example of bio mimetics. A DEAD natural sponge was proven to be a great holder of water due to it's NATURAL close cellular structure.

Man decided to mimic the sponge into a synthetic product made of un-natural materials.

Want to discuss soap ?????

Surely a tub of turtle wax and rain ex for the windscreen does the same job?

Nope, you need to crush a gazzilion butterlies and put it into a fancy polymer tub with an exotic name and charge £10000 a tub.

:D

Did you just ask this so you would have some entertaining debate to watch on a Friday evening ? I should imagine someone will oblige shortly if so...

See?

My posts always seem to bring drama on this forum. Detailing is for people who like....well....detailing.

I dislike football as to me it's a sport for girls. But I wouldn't go out of my way to make my views heard on a football forum. Instead I go out and socialise with my friends and family and talk about things we like. Maybe some of you guys on here who strongly disagree in expensive car products and cleaning cars for days should do the same. Life's to short to argue.

We are not allowed to talk football on here because the admins don't like it.

I dont think anyone on here dislikes car cleaning products - merely like to marvel at the persons who find this the best way to spend their time...

Absolutely.

You do a phenomenal job on vehicles and take them to a level better presented than dealers do from new.

You also can take older cars back into a condition that belies the miles afforded to them.

My cap is doffed. Everything else is jovial banter.

Thank you, very much appreciated. Agreed on the banter:)

I realy enjoy these threads, and as people have said your work looks great and comes highly recomened. I just don't have the time (at the mo) to give it a good detail, but threads like this keep my enthusiasm up, and what products are good to use.

Keep posting:thumb:

I do it as a job, so have a very sociable life indeed. But one thing I strongly agree with is cleaning a car the right way with the right products when spending £35k and above. Whatever anyone says I think its crazy to take a car to 5 min car wash when you have spent alot of your wages on a car you clearly desire. Its like Overfinch where I detail there cars, they would never let a valeter touch there £70k+ cars. I just wash and prep them, nothing crazy, but they would rather get me who charges about an extra £60.00 a car to have someone who uses premium products and has vast knowledge of paintwork and automotive synthetic materials then 99% of the valeters around my area.

I didn't say I didn't think it was worth it :) there are lots on here that think iPhones / Macbook Air's / 64" Plasmas / lap dancers / essex blondes / drinking / smoking / holidays are also a waste of money.

It is my money, easy come - easy go. I have no interest in smoking / little interest in drinking or holidays - so i spend my money on the rest... :)

I know you didn't, its just a common view that goes around around on this forum. I have never witnessed as many arguments on a forum as this one. It's actually quite funny:)

So why not just be part of them instead of taking them to hart :thumb:

Lol I don't take them to heart otherwise I wouldn't have time to make a living. As for the footballers remark I can't comment as I detail some of reading and Chelsea's cars;)
