Just got back off my hols and wanted to share the best bit with you all, which was on Sunday 13th July

A couple of bits of the circuit are the wrong way for the traffic flow - so you'll notice a slight deviation or two

Don't forget to switch your sound on and turn it up!

Sorry watched about a minites worth, I think theres a speed limit, and I wouldn't like to meet you on a Zebra crossing.

Funny how you actually stopped at one when you spotted the poilce or was that good luck :)

Sorry maybe I'm getting old, I've driven round the 'circuit' in a normal car at normal speeds. I think reving it up and bliping the loud pedal in such a car isn't really needed, especially in a busy area.

Maybe a track day would be better if you want to unleach the horse.

Nice car though :)

I was a passenger on a WRX to get introduced to the track and have hints and tips
and then I was given to drive and go around the track with a 360 spider for 5 laps. It had a nice feeling and amazing sound I must admit. And the instructor sitting next to me... did not say anything else than ... feel free to go faster hahah... on the last 2 laps ... he did not say much

But I must admit a lovely car and the steering sharp and tight. Nice setup.

I decided it would be a good idea to walk the circuit afterwards (my other half didn't appreciate it but, it had to be done)

Found this parked on the doorstep of the casino.....

I'm sure you will remember that experience for many a year.

Is it a company that offers these trips and would the driver usually give a commentary on the different points of the circuit?

Some folks might think Monaco beats Torquay but I'm not so sure  :D

Yep - i sure will.

There are two companies - one positioned at the end of le rascas and the other at the swimming pool complex. A running comentary would have been nice but i don't think its part of the trip.

The minor detours that i can tell are:

Wrong way around casino square and the exit of the tunnel goes straight on into the runoff area.

Very nice I am going again next year to take LOTS AND LOTS of photos.

I think that was the one where there was someone actually wanting to cross the road.

Monte Carlo isn't for driving round, a gentle stroll and then an afternoon people watching from the Cafe de Paris is much more civilised, though quite possibly more wallet busting than the Ferrari experience.

Nice video but I agree, some of the 'pointless' revving, like when that guy was crossing the road seemed only to scare the s**t out of people.

Just like all the Saxo's and Nova's in my local Tesco's car park...

Hmmm, Torquay Grand Prix - now there is a good idea, nice one John.

Mike

Agreed!...But had you noticed that there are a couple of sourepusses on this forum who will undoubtedly object to any fun:cool:

Im glad the Dent Guy had a good time with what was clearly a "professional" driver. A bit like a Ring Taxi for Monaco only a LOT slower!:)

That happens most saturday nights in the Novaaaaa cup classic around the harbour

BTW , nice motor and one of the few places they don't look out of place

I drove a merc round 90% of the course AND through the casino square a few years back - I can still see it when I close my eyes

It's no doubt a licenced business, those car's must be just like a merry-go-round and I'm sure all the locals are very aware of their presence and no doubt the police keep a very close eye on them.

We're only young once and to go around Monaco in a Ferrari is not something that many of us will ever get to do. I'm sure some folks will object but that's life, and we only get to live it once.

I drove around Monaco in a Smart Car a few years ago, it was mildly amusing.

The highlight for me was the Marina, some of the yachts there were ships.

I've gotta say that when in Monaco I don't think I'd even bat an eyelid at anything less than an Mac F1 or 250 GTO when you've got yachts there that would make Buckingham palace look like a 2 bed semi!!!

Sort of the same effect that the Red Arrows have on Goodwood's Festival of Speed.

I was in a friend of mines 360 and to be honest there is really no need to keep revving it, the bloody thing is that loud anyway.......(although he did have a full racing exhaust on it too)

I recall being behind a guy from my estate who had a F40 in my car, now how the hell he drove that thing around was beyond me..... it was SO Loud i had a headache in my car behind him.......

I suppose its whatever floats your boat!!!!!

I was lucky enough for Mrs E to arrange a Murcielago when we stayed at the Hermitage a couple of years back. We used to go every year at the beginning of November for a few days - day in the spa, dinner at the Casino, etc.

The Lambo was fab - purple - but a real pain to drive around Monaco. But out on the corniches.....and I got to park outside the Casino! She also organised a 360 Spider for the couple we were out there with - one of the perks of having a decent network in the travel world :).

Do thay have the ride round there during the summer? It's something my lad would love to do when we're down there next month.
