Hi,

Very nice car. Reminds me of my old manual '98 C200 (silver). The grill really makes the difference too.

I see your manual C200 has over 100K miles.

My manual C230K has developed a gearbox fault at 98K miles.

It pops out of 3rd gear. This developed from the gearstick rocking whilst in 3rd gear.

Do you have this issue at all I wonder?

I put my last W202 (a manual C200) over 100K miles during my ownership and it never had this problem.

As with many higher-mileage manual cars, you could perceive a not abnormal amount of general movement in the box, mainly when pulling on and off the throttle, but nothing of any great concern or consequence, and it never popped out of gear!
