Media unit faulty

Media unit in glove box not working any ideas please or location of replacement unit.

What is the media unit in the glove box?:

- The aux media socket?
- CD Changer?
- Becker Map Pilot navigation processor?

You would have a bracket in the glove box for the (optional) Becker Map Pilot navigation processor. Is this the unit that is faulty?

Have looked at some replies I have a usb and a media connector. Reading other posts it appears that the usb is not a power source which I first assumed.
I have since checked and the unit does work but only as a media feed as explained on other posts.
Thanks to the club for response and answers it is appreciated
