Meet Up - Avantgarde Clevedon - April 6 2024

Hi everyone,

I was approached a month or 2 ago by the rep for the official owners club about having a meet at my place in the spring.

We have agreed a date of Saturday 6 April and he has very kindly allowed me to open it up to more people than the official members.

I have posted this on the other Mercedes forum and a few are attending from there so I thought I would post it here and see if anyone wanted to attend.

If so, pop your name in the comments section and it will just give me an idea of how many intend on coming.

Just thought I'd give this a quick bump as I've now booked a hotel for the Saturday night, as have two or three others.

Be nice to get the Merc out again as, apart from a bit of shunting around, it's not turned a wheel since the end of September last year. Looking forward to seeing a few from here down there.

I was based in Portishead during my youth at Gordano School .... you should survive as it has calmed down a lot since myself and my siblings left ( Oddly enough immediately straight after Avon & Somerset Police made Portishead the HQ! )

I have a personal issue to resolve, hopefully i can do this by tomorrow morning, realistically the earliest i will be free though is post 12.00 midday - I need to give the car a run!!

I really trust that everyone had a great weekend, alas i has some issues which were not resolved until 3.30pm ....sigh

Next time? And oddly enough i am in Clevedon next Saturday to scatter my mother ashes.....
