Just reading EVO mag 150 page 62 quote

"The legendary Tony at Wheels in Motion set the cars geometry up and it's even more precise and predictable now"

Is WIM a member on here?

I went there a couple of weeks ago and they set up my alignment for me....very knowledgeable lot. Am going back there tomorrow for a little tweak to my steering wheel alignment!

Apparently Tony Bones (WIM) is a member on several forms, this one included - however he does seem to frequent some forums more than others.

He is always happy to help and advise and in return gets some business off the forums - which is 100% fair trade in my opinion.

I used to go and see him when he was still in Watford - now he is a bit too far away for me. He's not only an expert, but also a real decent guy. Highly recommended. Check out Wheel Alignment Experts Chesham | Car Tyres Fitting and Wheel Alignment Specialists

Blimey, i'm surprised anyone even noticed the tiny article.

We do tend to finish magazines development cars, so what with that and meets we hold at the centre wim is often in the mags... "blush".

Really proud MBC members mention it though..... Blush again.

To WIM....I am happy to say that my drive home today involved a totally straight steering wheel. :thumb:

Please thank the guy who was utterly patient with me as I brought it back twice to correct a steering wheel that probably only I would have a problem with

I noticed a slight judder at high cough cough speed and took the W124 to WIM to have the wheels balanced. An excellent job, so much so that at an indicated 140mph on the autobahn, the only wobbling bit was my double chin. Really helpful people.

The final MB steering position can be problematic due to the collective play in the steering train, but nevertheless there is nothing more annoying than an offline wheel.

There is another reason for this due to us off-setting the castor position to belay the pull left, but i won't bore you with the explanation.

Lol...... Can't help you with the extra chin but pleased to read the hand vibration has gone.

Actually, that final adjustment done on Friday has totally cured any pull that it had - it now tracks perfectly straight! Thanks again...I'm very happy with it.

Please don't thank me.... I thank you. Providing we understand the end position of the steering wheel can be tricky due to the nature of the beast, collectively and incrementally it's dealt with then both parties will be happy.

Our own JonMad is in print, from the forums section in the magazine as well.

:D second time I think.

Tony did the geo on my MX-5 back when I had that. Awesome job.
