I must have owned 50 or so over the past 20 years.

My favourite that I've owned is probably my E55 but my new E450 Cab is also excellent. The best one to drive was the W140 S500. Best car MB have ever made bar none.

Have owned 4 to date and, still own and part own 2.

In order of ownership.

CLS 350 2006. Nice car, really drives fantastic. The seats available just not enough for my needs.

E55k. Not a lot to say on this, other than,BEAST. Mine was quite lite on spec. But the overall engine is quite something.

Joint owned.E320 CDI S211. 2004. Fantastic drive, built like a tank. Fantastic engine. Pulls like a train. Superb diesel unit. Very very comfortable. Had quite a bit of trouble with, but the positives outweigh the negatives.

Current, E63 6.2 W212. Most favourite exhaust note of a car that I have owned, it's stock at present, still unsure if I will alter it. Got some real nice touches to it. It's on a 59 plate so it's by no means the latest on offer. But it's what I like and always wanted to try the N/A AMG package in the E class. Had it on a few family breaks and it's really performed beyond expectations. I like them all in different ways but the 6.2 is special.

Would love to own along with current cars.
190E Cosworth, with a manual gearbox. I think one of the best looking motor vehicles ever produced.

More than 100. My 300SEL 6.3, 280SL (pagoda) and SL55 are probably my favorites . I'd like to own a Grand 600, 540k, 300SL Gullwing and AMG GT someday

Two, the former an '03 W211 E320CDI 10 years ago. The current one, an '06 CLS500 is the favourite. The W211 I thought was a great car & was the first diesel in my ownership to offer serious oomph whilst still getting 40+ mpg on a run. I missed it when I sold it & was in the market again for another E-class about 6 months ago, but this time wanted a V8 one with the normally-aspirated M113 engine. The E500 seemed quite thin on the ground in the UK so I bought a CLS500 which is basically the same car but considerably more abundant 2nd-hand. Love it so far
Dream MB? Very happy with what I've got but if I won the lottery probably the SLS

That is a dream car because you just made it up
The 300SE coupe came with an inline 6 all alloy 3.0 liter engine. The 280SE (W111) came with the 3.5 V8.

Dont really have a dream Mercedes, as once you get into AMG GT, S65 cabrio territory I'd probably choose something else.
The SL63 ticked a lot of boxes at a "realistic " price

I've enjoyed them all for differing reasons, but the E55 I had for the longest period. It was a wrench selling, it but I'm more than happy with its replacement. The E63 Biturbo is probably the quickest car I'll ever own too.
The AMG GT is the one I'd like to own, but never will.
The W140 S 500 my brother in law had is the best car I've been in.

My favourite? The 270cdi.. I upgraded that car from pauper spec to, IMHO, the most highly optioned 203 out there.
The 219 was awesome but wasn't "my baby"...

My dream Merc must be the 1956 300SL Gullwing
