Surely that's just plain silly and a waste of a decent car..... gad i'm sounding old....
That really appeals to me 
Buy it, Track it to make sure its all good - and then use all the bits to effect a cheap fix on the fix the 190 engine wiring !
Only problem is that I am currently looking to turbo the SL......................
