merc v12 600sel waterpump help

hi all and merry xmas
ive just been given a v12 merc just has one prob the water pump is shagged and it needs a new one merc themselves want 400 quid for it do u guys know any better places to look to get one cheaper??
was recommended ere from a mate from edition 38.

Try euro car parts first.

If no luck there try eBay.de

If no luck there then MB dealer it is.

what exactly is the car model age etc I bet a decent machine shop could rebuild the one you have for less than that. If its an older car the "new one" you buy from MERC will be a refurbished one anyway-- albeit to a high standard.
