HI and happy new year to everyone in the best forum in the world
I as some of you know have a 300 ce over christmas my sliding roof started playing up i took it to the main dealer and was advised that it could cost £1800 to put right i am sure i can repair this only problem being is the roof lining removal any ideas thanks

There's this site also which details replacing the headliner in a W126 but has details of the sunroof which I expect is pretty much the same for the W124. http://www.500sec.com/headliner.htm You know in an emergency you can move it by manually winding the mechanism from the boot?? [detailed in handboot] Because trim is involved you may wish to entrust this to a car trimming specialist rather than DIY?
