I believe so , they will be under the air intake “batwing” and under the inlet port shut off motor . Probably easier to try the resistor mod first in case they are all connected still . 4.7k ohm resistor in the middle two terminals of the ilps motor electrical feed .Hello its me again with smoking 320cdi clssome suggested that maybe swirl flap linkage come off, or stuck ! Can i see them without removing inlet manifolds ??
Thanks
Hi. No no faults only problem is car smokes heavy under acerelation- kick down.. if you push pedal even no smoke... No loss of powerI believe so , they will be under the air intake “batwing” and under the inlet port shut off motor . have you checked the car for fault codes , because a broken linkage on the swirl flap motor would put the car into limp mode
Has the car been scanned for fault codes or do you just mean there is no engine management light on the dash ?Hi. No no faults only problem is car smokes heavy under acerelation- kick down.. if you push pedal even no smoke... No loss of power
Yes its been scanned with launch x431 only fault was o2 sensor. I replaced that fault gone nowHas the car been scanned for fault codes or do you just mean there is no engine management light on the dash ?
Yes all hoses are good...no leaksBlack smoke is un-burned fuel - could be injectors over fuelling, faulty fuel pump, faulty EGR. Need to get the live data read. Assumes you have checked all of the turbo and intercooler hoses and seals for leaks?

Already done that same thing...Prise the egr out with a wood chisel to begin with ,then a screw driver . Clean it up with Mr.muscle . Don't lose the seal ring down the hole . Run the engine with it out and rev it. Sounds like a v8 chevvy but blows alot of crap out. Replace clean egr and try again.
Wish you'd said.Already done that same thing...
Just done hour ago mateWish you'd said.![]()
All sorted now thanks to everyoneThis is like playing Battleships - get it to an indy and get the data properly read as you have obviously covered everything that we are guessing at apart from getting the live data.
