Sorry didnt see the euro, you can get them for around 8,000GBP now. It would have been intresting if the engine was the 55 Kompressor, but then it would make difficulty fitting. Would it be possible to transplant a M113 5.5L engine into a 124?

Shouldn't be that difficult, They used to put a 5.0 ltr in the 124 before. Besides, if it is difficult than just stick the 5.0 ltr up front and the remaining 0.5 ltr in the boot for that little bit of kick

The stroke is different on the 5.5 M113 to make up the 0.5 litre. Reading the small print that price is based on an exchange - it is 10.5k Euros for a reconditioned engine.

that place seems to either.. have a few of those engines, or not selling the one they have!

id vote for the latter! pretty expensive though, as I have seen a few rear shunted E55`s for £5K, that would include the whole car to transplant into whatever you wanted!

I would love to put it in the C43, with only 47000 miles on mine i think i will have wait a long time.
