Good afternoon,

Can anyone kindly recommend a good, professional leather seat restoration company based in London or Greater West London area?

My blue leather seats are looking tired and need to look fresh for the spring/summer...

Thanks in advance for any recommendations 👍

D Class in Chobham are very good. Might be a bit too far from West London though. They did some work on sons Volvo - very impressive.
Thanks for the recommendation.

I spoke to these guys, they are expensive for me (around 4k).

Im looking for a spray, touch up job similar to this...

d:class, worth every penny. Did a full nappa retrim on my C class. Beautiful job, highly recommended.

I would estimate, from the photo I can see, that a good leather repaired would be able to bring that back to fantastic condition for a lot less than £4k. It won't look brand new and never sat in, but it would look very very good.

If you were unsure, you could ask them to see if they would do a demonstration repair, for example, the worst seat base/back/whatever so you can see what the rest will be like, on the condition that you only pay an 'at cost' price if you don't want the rest done and decide a retrim is the way to go.

I would have thought that if a trimmer believes they can give you what you're after (and you've not said what finish you are prepared to accept), they would be prepared to stick their neck out and agree to the 'test' panel as an option (provided you're not miles from them).

Have you seen some of the leather restores that people have experienced on here?

The photo you're showing there seems to be seats that simply needs restoration that will cost a few hundred, not a "retrim" which will cost a few thousand (using fresh leather)

Can't recommend a specialist that I've used, but there are plenty of detailing specialists around your area that could do this, as well as a lot of mobile "interior restorers" who will come to you and do the job outside your home. It would hope to know exactly where you are.

However if you do need to retrim some, or all, of the leather, Surrey Trimming are very good: Front page | Surrey Trimming

Even if you have torn leather and stitching a good trimmer can normally repair just panels. You don't have to replace all the leather.

Hi MrGreedy,

Yes this what I'm after. I was expecting it will cost around 400.

I've found a couple online but I don't want to use someone who doesn't have experience with these Mercedes colours. As you can see mine is navy blue.

I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has used a decent company. So far haven't found anything on here. Checked thoroughly but nothing.

Hello Mike,

Cheers for the response.

I might go for the mobile restoration. Will give Surrey Trimming a call tomorrow, see if they can help or recommend anyone.

Might be a bit more than £400, depends on size. If you're talking front and rear seats, door cards/handles and gear knob/steering wheel/all the bits (I'm thinking of more modern Mercs here) then it might be closer to double that. But again, not £4k.

I don't know which part of the country @Alex225 lives, but he had a lot done on his S class

It might be worth trying Colourlock. They’re near Heathrow-ish. I think they do restoration as well as selling the products. The products I have used are excellent and they colour match to your car

Thanks for recommendation, yes I saw them YouTube. They do look promising, will give them a call and will post some photos once the job starts 👍

Yes that's not that far, will give them a call
I went to their place to get some leather repair juice. They matched the colour while I waited. It’s only a small place but superb service, I’d thoroughly recommend them.
