This years event will be more or less the same as last year.
We've had visitors from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands and Russia(!!), but we still haven't seen anyone from the UK.
Unfortunately, the ferry from Newcastle to Stavanger has been cancelled. There is still a ferry going from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark. I've taken this two times. I suppose there will be a 12-14 hour drive from Esbjerg to Gol, going thru Sweden. If you want a more relaxing trip, you can take the ferry from Denmark to Norway.
If you don't want to bring the car, it is no problem flying in. There will be no problem finding someone to ride together with from Oslo if you want to.
Our invite is only in Norwegian, but here it is :
The prices :
Members of our club or foreigners : 600
Companion, Escort : 400
Children 11-15 : 150
Children 4-11 : 100
Children under 4 : Free
All prices are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK).
1£ = 10 NOK.
This might seem a lot, but include :
Festive dinner at the hotel Saturday.
Possibility of winning prizes
Breakfast/Lunch sunday
In addition, there will be cruising saturday and barbeque friday.
