I think that’s horrendously expensive for a years warranty but on the backside of that they get 4 years new warranty.

Looks about £800 cheaper in Canada for an AMG compared to the UK. At least it is for my model.
I haven't checked what cover is offered in the UK.

I’ve just paid for another two years Mercedes warranty at £714. I thought that was pretty good considering! Mind you I do very little mileage and the cars only done 19000 miles, it’s a 17 plate C Class.
