Just found this info which is useful to someone...Mercedes Benz, like all vehicle maufacturers, issues recalls from time to time to address safety defects. These vehicle recalls are intended to fix features of design or construction which are liable to cause significant risk of injury to drivers, passengers or other road users.

Thanks. Good to see how few on main models. A and B class almost 10 out of 10 apart from a seat belt on the early B's.

Yes they are:- both the A and the B.

Thanks, hawk20! From what I've heard from MB, it wasn't until late 2006 that they began galvanizing certain models at factories around the World...not sure though what ones were first!

well, certainly for the A Class, W169, anyway, as a Merc rep informed me about this fact!

Hi all, has anyone got any info on any Uk recalls for the r230 SL. Mine is a 500 and how I go about having these done if they haven't already been done?
