Mercedes-Benz SL600 1995, 35,000 kms

Too right. Cheap too!!

what would it cost to import it ?

Not sure if it is all that cheap. $NZ29000 is eqv £13400. Add maybe £2 - £3000 for transport then another heavens-knows for HMRC import taxes/duty and it could add up to £20000. For a 1995 car?

Is that cheap for a 600 in NZ?

Generally NZL is considered to be the cheapest place to buy good quality used Mercs due to Asian imports flooding the market, so even the NZ new cars suffer a bigger than normal price drop. List price seems low for what it is even in NZL. I would wonder if the seller is really in need of money. It is an import to NZL and depending where it came from originally there may be some extra questions the potential buyer may need to have clear answers to. However it is what it is and it is a fine looking car. If it is in top order I would think it would make someone very happy indeed, for not a lot of money.

Brits could wait till the Pound rises to take full advantage of the situation in NZL but then again that may take a long time.

The SL60 is a V8 m119 engine,but that`s a V12.AMG also did a V12 but that`ll be SL73

And the V12 has more power!

Possibly! M-B supposedly under-stated the power output of the SL60 so it didn't undermine the 600 as being the 'flagship' model. Being a fair bit heavier the SL600 was only a bit quicker 0-62 mph than the 500 (6.1 secs vs 6.5), and slower than the SL60 (5.8 secs).

Just read that ad.
This silky smooth high performance 6000cc engine produces over 450 hp
No - 394 bhp.
