Mercedes c250 w202 cut off while driving

I have a mercedes w202 c250td
It was leaking diesel fro. Diesel filter so i replaced all the o rings
There wad bubbles in the diesel pipes but i had an emergency and drove like that
Next moment while driving the car cut off
I havent been able to start it since
If i use quick start it would start but when i stop spraying it cuts off
Any advise
How can i check if its a fuel cut off valve on the pump ???
Can the fuel cut off be bypassed so i can reach my destination ???

These engines are very sensitive to air in the fuel lines. It's more likely to be a bad O ring in one of the fuel delivery lines.

Hello all, not had to post before due to the wealth of information available, but now I could really do with some advice please. Our C250 TD isn't starting properly, due to air in the fuel line. I assume it's probably a leak somewhere from other posts I'v read, but it's not obvious to me...

i have jsut had this and found it to be either a poorley connected battery or a perished fuel pipe at the filter... both done and the cars running fine again.

I doubt air in the fuel pipes is a good thing.

Aren't these systems pressurised?
