Mercedes Citan 2013 Central locking

Hi All

Thank you for having me on you forum. I'm a new owner of a Mercedes Citan 2013, I recently purchased the van and I have a problem with the central locking. When I push the button from the remote, the doors don't lock, if I push the interior button for the central locking, it doesn't work. I tried changing the battery from the remote and I checked the fuse, all fine. I'm thinking there's no power coming to the module or something. Can someone guide me in the right direction with this ? Has anyone encountered this. Thank you

Have you tried the bcu under by the pedals, have you washed the back of it out and water got behind seats? There are wires and fuses underneath passenger seat that could blow that unit.

I see you've not been back here for almost a month, but if you're still stuck it may be worth checking for similar issues with the (more common) Renault Kangoo which is basically the same vehicle bar the grille & badges.
