Could be worth ringing Steve Garlick at Stevensons Independent Mercedes Specialists between Tonbridge and Maidstone (01622 815 227). Until late last year he was a Diagnostic Technician at a MB Main Dealer and I believe he looks after v12s for some club members.

Any indi with good experience of STAR will be able to help you with your M275 engine. They're not that rare or difficult and the engine is 13 years old.
