CLs seem good value when you consider that the equivalent SL, age/engine will cost you about £23k

Aye, but that's because this is a tail end C216 and you're comparing it to a new model W231.

So there's a model run-out discount thing being compared to a new model premium.

Good value, for sure, but there's still some depreciation to go, and it's never easy to find a new home for a CL.

One owner.......

£96k then probably £13k (traded in) 7 or so years later.

Still absolutely gorgeous
And what MSL or GAD etc could coax from that engine.....

But it's still a no from me

There'll be another one along in a minute.

OK, it'll probably be silver with a black interior, but you know what I mean....

I love it that these folk lose £80k in depreciation over 8 years and 70,000 miles, just so that they can pass these toys on to us. How lucky are we ?

.

OK, who bought it ?

Or has it been passed on in the trade ?

Wasnt me either.

I know which I'd choose; the first car just looks, oh, about a thousand times better than the second...
