Well looked after, great history
Full black leather
Black electric roof
Electric memory driver and passenger seats
Electric tilt/reach steering wheel
Electric heated mirrors
Cruise control
Traction control
Auto dipping rear view and wing mirrors
Remote central locking (also will open the roof from the key)
Sony stereo, touch screen, steering wheel controls still all work. Will play bluetooth music, phone calls, music on a USB stick and loads more.
Excellent service history, not all Merc, some specialist and 2 oil changes done by myself (with parts receipts) but carried out none the less.
Work done as follows
I had the gear box fully rebuilt and reconditioned. These cars had an issue where the anti freeze leaked into the gearbox oil. So I had it fixed and a gearbox specialist. It cost £2200 to fix and all new internals were used (torque converter etc). Drives like new (because it is!)
It has had all new front and rear springs, shock absorbers, new propshafts bearing and rubber mounts (donuts)upper and lower control arms,
All new pads and discs on the front and rear.
Wheels are newly refurbished so are unmarked, also comes with a full set of winter tyres on steels rims.
It has not used a drop of oil between changes and never used a drop of water since I bought it.
I have used this car for numerous trips round Europe, including trips to the Alps for skiing. With the winter tyres, it was no issue at all in 12 inches of snow.
It has been faultless and drives as you would expect.
With all the work that I have had done, there are no knocks, bangs, wobbles, clunks or any other noise.
There are of course stones chips and the odd marl from bushes on country lanes, but only what you would expect on a car of this age.
I know people always say this, but this is really a very good car-its not new I grant you, but it drives beautifully.
