mercedes clk 320 cd changer

heyy everyonee
i have an issue with the cd changer located in the glovebox of my 2003 clk 320. the radio, casette and everything except for the cd changer works. as soon as i try to play cd it keeps on displaying the message: NO CHANGER.
but the magazine is IN the changer and its full of cd's as well. what to doooo?!

mine did that when I bought it, 51plate 320 clk conv, fibre connection to boot.
Tried all the usual fiddling with cartridge and connections etc but nothing.
Took changer out of the boot, basically whipped the cover off it and moved the mechanism using a large cog within the body of the changer, while I did this, I carefully applied WD40/white grease to the moving areas. Put it back together and hey presto, 1 working CD changer which head unit recognises etc.
