Hello,

I have an odd situation with my Mercedes CLS 320 from 2005.
My disc brakes keep warping regardless of what I do.
Changed the hubs and discs original from Mercedes and after 4 months they are warped again.

I have some error codes as well that I can't find anything about.

Anyone had any issues like this?

faulty calliper piston sticking or sticking calliper slider, causing braking on only one side of the disc, are the most common cause of warped discs.

I have just had to replace a front caliper due to a seized piston. There were no indications of a problem, no pulling to one side, the pad wear was fairly even on both pads. What happens with a twin pot caliper is the disc will bend towards the bad piston so the braking appears to be ok. The disc will eventually warp and give you the vibration under braking.

Thank for the answer but don't think all 4 calipers are broken.
I have changed the back ones and the pistons are working smoothly no force needed for them to go back.

yeah .. that does not apply to me. I don't race my CLS and definetly not braking hard on the motorway. Only driven the car on the M25 plus the parts are original from mercedes.
Rotors and discs plus pads even the studs are from Mercedes.

So you have checked the caliper piston, if I am right you will have one piston and a sliding/floating caliper, so have you checked the caliper slide pins are free?

yes i did. They all move freely without any issues. The only thing that i can think of right now is the SBC pump not working as it should.

hi,
did you fix this issue?
im having the same problem my car keeps warping the discs its the third time
ive changed the discs in 2 months

If you have checked fully the calipers and are confident the hub face was clean before install get the hubs runout measured I had similar issues and it was the wheel bearings

Well I have a similar problem in a Citroen DS5 auto when the car starts off no problem after about 10 miles I get the vibration coming through the steering wheel when I brake, now I had the front disc's changed and new pads a few months ago,it is still the same,I have just taken a amount of brake fluid out of the reservoir ,have not tried it yet has had a few beers at lunchtime but will tomorrow and report back,in all the years I have been driving I have never had a warped disc,so two in a few months cannot be correct .
