Mercedes CLS W219 (05-10) vs CLA C118 (19-)

I was wondering how the Mercedes CLS W219 (2005-2010) compares in regard to ride quality and refinement to the new Mercedes CLA C118 (2019-present)? Many thanks in advance for any input!

Cls rides like a E or better (some had airmatic), the CLA ride is worse than C class (base model). Don't get cla, try to get at least a C class, trust me.

I can’t help with a comparison but my CLS350 Shooting Brake (2017) rides lovely. No complaints at all (other than possible buckled wheel but that’s another point all together.)

CLS vastly superior on every level. Ride quality, comfort, refinement, build quality and noise levels. Chalk and cheese.
