Hi guys, recently bought my 2006 CLS.
There is a problem, or maybe a setting?

My parking sensors (front and back) seem only to beep on red, ie when I nearly hit something?
Any ideas at all? Please help as my girlfriend just started driving it and isn't used to big cars.

parktronic only beeps when the red lights come on .. before that you look at the display and there is calm and quiet in the cabin.

IMO, a much better system than one without lights and just beeps.

Do your yellow lights come on as you get closer to a wall?, then you should get the beeping as the first red of the two reds come on to total continuous beep at which point stop.

Ah ok. Thanks for this! I thought something was wrong as in my BMW it beeps louder until you reach the correct point. I agree that it is better like this but a bit of getting used to.
