How does one check the Digital Service History? I have tried to access it on Mercedes Me without success. The car is not fitted with an adaptor.

I have all service records on paper but would like to see it digitally.

When I tried to ask mb to confirm my electronic history they told me I had to go into mb with my log book as proof it was my vehicle

I am able to access the service history for my car online.

Originally, whenever a dealer service was carried-out, after the service the advisor would hand me a Digital Service Record which had a SecCode (Security Code) printed on it.

In order to access my DSB on the Mercedes Me website I needed to enter this code.

So in effect the DSB was only available for cars that were being serviced at an official dealer.

However, there's a new user interface now for the DSB on Mercedes Me website, and it is no longer prompting me for the SecCode.

I don't know if this means that they now verify automatically if the car is being serviced at the dealer (mine is), or perhpas the DSB is now free-for-all and anyone can access their car's service history on the Mercedes Me website.

Yes, and I have done that shortly after purchasing the car, my local MB dealer (I purchased the car from a non-MB dealer) provided me with a computer printout signed and stamped by the dealer.

PS. As it happens I do have the Mercedes Me Adapter, but it is not required for viewing the service history online.

I had mine serviced at my Indy and the report produced the SecCode which gained me access to my full online service data, as long as the service centre can update the DSB then you will get a code for access, doesn't have to be a main dealer

Ok where do I find it on Mercedes Me ? I have searched through the menus without locating it. There is a sec code number at the bottom of my paper copy of the service report. I can’t locate where I need to enter the sec code.

sorry for jumping in.. could you check mine if I send details.... I had major nightmare as car serviced by Indy but original sec code not being recognised now; even though it previously was. many phone calls to Mercedes uk didn't bear fruit and they couldn't give me a new code; they told me that their system has changed and they don't provide history via the sec code??!! and Watford MB total ignorant sXXXXs and ignored my many requests. I was given a ME adaptor by Mercedes Colindale but not really any benefit for my w212 and still cant access the service record now. thx

If it's the E63 in your album it's been serviced annually. ;)

Is Mercedes me online actually working for anyone?

I try to login, and it just gives me a black screen
I haven’t been able to get into the portal on the website since Wednesday - log in and then blank white screen. The app on my phone was still working when I checked yesterday.

Ta, not just me then

Hi Natacha,
would you mind if I were to email you and ask for a SecCode? it will saave me having to go to my dealer? :)
thanks
Gerry

Thanks for that offer Natacha, however I have print outs of all the services since the car was new. I was just interested on how I could see the service report on Mercedes Me. I have been all over it but can’t find the area where I can view the service report.

thanks again
