Hi. I'm sure this is a common question, but I haven't seen a fully comprehensive answer to being able to access my vehicle's digital service history. I've checked Google but the results I have seen are for the trade only.

I am taking delivery of a 2015 e-class this week and would like to be able to check the service history.

Thanks in advance.

Simply ask the supplying dealer to supply this.

That's what I did with my '05 CLK, phoned the original selling dealer and they came up with it, even posting it to me. Your local Merc dealer should do it for you, if they're not half wits, like mine.

I have access to it as do all dealers and good independent specialists. I am sure your local specialist or dealer can help.

Thanks all. The car comes tomorrow, will see what comes with it.

Good luck with it, have fun. Someone will be buying more polish.

If all else fails, email reg and vin No to [email protected]-benz.com It takes about a week but if the service history for the car has been uploaded onto the MB system they will email it to you.

What Bayleaf said. I recently did this on a purchase and they asked me to email them the following:

A copy of your photographic ID, such as your driving license or passport, along with your V5 document, in the same name, in particular page 2 and 3 which show the car and owner’s details.

Dear BlackC55,

Sorry to bump up an old thread but I'm in a similar situation as the OP and a new member on this forum.

Loved a 4-year old C220d; put in a deposit only to be told later that the trade seller is only able to find first (February '18) and last (Nov '20) service details. Everything in between is missing but the trade seller promised to get it to me in due course (which means nothing!).

I'm a noob and this is my first car but my friend (who test-drove it for me) loved the handling, etc. and we were convinced about the quality of the car. The price is approx. £700 - £800 below anything comparable I could find for a similar make/mileage in London area.

Reg number: KT66GZA; VIN number: WDD2050042R165292

Can you please be kind enough to confirm from your database that this car has indeed been serviced only twice, i.e. Feb '18 and Nov '20?

Hi,

I have checked DSB and it logs only one service @ 14604 miles on the 13/02/18 for just an A Service.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Olly

Thanks a ton! Either a super lousy keeper or not serviced at approved dealerships. Given that this car exchanged hands in 2019 and yet there's only one service makes me wonder about the current as well as the previous owner. Will let this go then. When a deal's too good to be true, it probably is..... ;)

I've heard of a case whereby a vehicle was serviced regularly by a MB technician in his own time using genuine MB parts (which were discounted to him eg trade price ) but he couldn't log the work into the MB system because a job card would have had to been created.Which would defeat the object of doing the job himself as a labour charge would have been introduced. So obviously a gap in the service history, but the vehicle maintained correctly.
