Mercedes Direct Manchester playing petty - looters

I recently had a break inn - attempted theft of my S cLass and being a loyal MB Direct customer thought would get it repaired from MB direct manchester. I sent in the car and they gave a quotation of £2900 for the following --->

Today i went to collect the car and see that the wing hasnt been repaired or anything, it had little bubbling of rust and the workshop supervisor told me that you will have to contribute some part to the works, ok i understand. But the mirror scratch hasnt gone, I told him to get it done and he touched it up with paint. When i drove the car back home, i could hear noises of other cars passing by as if i was in a corsa and not S class which has double glazed and i never felt like this before the brake inn. And worst to worst, today it rained and when i opened the driver door after 8 hrs of parking, the water dripped of the door as if the car was sunk in the river. I dont think they changed the door. The door card is the same interior as before. I dont know whats with them, 2900 from my insurance and work is so cheap as if it was from a novice garage. I will be taking my car back tommorow to them.

any suggestions what my approach should be.....
 
Go back to the garage and show them the issues you have with the work that they have done ?
 
Complain to morethan and tell them you're not happy and to withold payment until you are!

That garage made a cracking job of my wings and tailgate...
 
Never mind the 'quality' of the repair, just look at the cost!! :eek:

I think it would be somewhat less if it wasn't an insurance job.

And we wonder why car insurance is so expensive?!?!
 
ohh well the first thing that Morethan did was increase £15 p/m on my insurance, not only on my merc but also on my other car too, because I pay monthly :mad: So they have had their share of payment.

But im really annoyed with Mercedes Direct for the poor quality of work they have done. I had put in my trust into them dispite my insurance offering me less increase in premium if I was to go a Mercedes approved garage and this is how mercedes treated their customer. Not only is it this. Im just furious at the way round they adopted. The car still has a few bits of cracked glass and they charged the insurance for valeting. Then the door pin has white glass stuff around it and when I showed the supervisor at the garage and he said, ohh well thats not a problem, just took a wet wipe and tried to clean it and it didnt go, he then took the car inn and said let me check with our technician and came back later and said, well if we color touch the sides it wont be the same color, so i suggest you dont worry about it and blah blah. Its just a bunch of looters :mad:
