Good evening need some information on few topics
I'm looking to buy a E class convertible 2019 done my checks like hp finance if there is any outstanding MOT history Etc....
These are my issues sort off if anyone can help on advice
(1) The car only has 1 key fob . Where do I get a replacement is this main dealer only
Or is there another place I can get a key fob from ?
(2) Full service roughly how much will this cost as it's behind and missed a service. I don't really want to take it to MB Main Dealer
(3) The e class is sat on 20" wheels and is missing locking wheel nuts anyone no where I can get these from apart from MB Main Dealer.
Thanks guys Steve

1.yes . After 2016 ISH , mb won't release any cloning software , unless it's changed ??

2. Depends what was due , some services require addition items . Like air filters , fuel filters, brake fluid etc. if you want to follow the mb ess.

3. Halfords . Etc .

1. Prepare for a cost of £300+.

2. It's not clear which service is missing?

Year 4 service is a big one, comprising of Service B (including cabin filter), brake fluid change, air filter change, and either spark plugs change (petrol) or fuel filter change (Diesel).

Year 5 service comprises of Service A, plus ATF and filter change (if automatic).

Do you have the actual printout of the DSB showing what has been done so far?

3. You can get them from MB, or from Febi online, or many other places, or you can just not put them on at all. Are the wheels genuine MB wheels, or an aftermarket replacement?

IMHO, alloys are so ubiquitous now the unless the wheels are really special, not sure adding locking nuts is needed now? Would be interested in other opinions
As for a specialist, I think Nuneaton is not too far so Mercland is reommended

Thanks for your comments ok , the wheels are genuine MB 20" . The service is missing 2 will no more when I collect car if the right deal is done ... the car has only done 43k so I be looking for full service onty for my own peace full mind ok thank you guys I'll call to the local MB dealer see the costs for the fob and coding and I guess will price full service see what's what thanks guys great community here Thank you Steve

Look into a mb service plan if you intend keeping it.
