Mercedes e class rear light issue

Hello
I'm hoping someone can help I have a 2013 Eclass220d. when I open my car the rear lights all come on with no issues. however wheen I start the car the drivers side rear light goes off any ideas

That is odd. I would get it plugged into a Star and go from there.
