Well that is of course very much a matter of opinion, at least if its silver it makes easy to spot the rust

Seller has said there are a couple of "scabs" that are "too small to be worth doing anything with" and that "at some point the car has been back to MB for a paint job under warranty".

I presume it will fetch good money, upwards of £4k?

Depends on the insurer - my CLK55 has been on classic since it was seven and a bit years old. I think five years and older is what they mentioned (Peter Best)
