Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum, so hopefully I’ve posted this correctly, I bought my 2015 e63 last summer with around 47k on the clock, everything working as it should, best thing I’ve ever done in my life was buying this car, anyhow… I’ve recently had a coil pack go, so cylinder 3 is not firing and a spark plug as gone too now also, I’ve been trying to find a coil pack online, I’ve been trying to get Mercedes MD and my specialist to order me one but they’re on back order till god knows when, and I can’t get any more info out of Mercedes, the cars just sat there now for just over 3 weeks and I just want it back on the road ASAP as I miss driving it way too much, which I’m sure most of you can relate too lol

Does anyone on here know of potentially where might hold a coil back that isn’t common knowledge or have one for sale
Or any advice, I’ve tried eBay, and online but no luck,
at this rate I’m just gonna have to wait it out but any information would be helpful,

I’ll supply the part number here :

a2769061001

Thanks in advance BC083835-4D5A-4F78-ABD2-BA0FEE6930AA.jpeg

Not going to be of great help here, but read your post with interest as only last week, a friend of mine who runs a indie Mercedes garage, was telling me of all the difficulties he was experiencing getting genuine MB parts, got cars sitting there for 4-12 weeks, driving him and the clients mad, seems MB are not in a great place to keep the after-sales in place at the moment.

Have you tried searching ebay for an ignition coil, instead of a coil pack. There are plenty on ebay.

Maybe try somewhere like MSL or Dronsfields? :thumb:

I appreciate the heads up, I suppose it’s still a time scale, not even Mercedes them selves would tell me, I’ve asked them to escalate the matter to try speed it up but we all know how that goes

Hi mate I’ve recently changed a few on my 2015 E63 the part number I needed was a revised newer part number to what was originally installed in the car the new part number I needed was A2769060501 so would assume it’s the same for you

This seller on eBay has 1 genuine Mercedes coil pack left he did have 3 so be quick and only £37 half the price of what the dealership will charge and brand new just Says old stock 👍 Mercedes Benz ignition coil genuine part A2769060501 | eBay

Hello bud, I did see that, and I’ve just purchased it now, but when I first saw the post and read about the part number someone stated that 0501 was the old part number and 1001 was the new version?

Lovely looking car. Got a 2014 W212 E63 myself in Palladium Silver. Did you ever get your ignition coil? What did you go with? Mine played up and gave a code on cylinder 7 last week. Swapped with cylinder 5 and the fault followed. Only to be told Merc don’t have any in the UK or Germany. Can’t get the coil bolts either.

Got some Beru ZSE093’s coming from the US hopefully that claim to be the 501 part code. Gotta be better than nothing. Missing the beast that has become an expensive ornament :-( the one that came out was a 3700. Fingers crossed they turn up and all good. If anyone has got any spare bolts….
