My wife got me this book about the story of the Mercedes-benz brand for my birthday - see details on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/047001802X/qid=1144868913/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/026-1186858-5718834. Owing to a delivery error by the supplier (not Amazon) it arrived in the German language version 
which I found quite hard to read as I don't know much German 
.
Luckily we were able to get a replacement in English, and (possibly) even luckier this means that I can now offer the German version to this forum if anyone wants it.
Parcel post will cost about a fiver as it weighs nearly 2 kgs. Offers ? (English version cost £16.50 on Amazon)
