Hi,
I'm Matthew's dad. It's a great story but as usual the press got a lot of it wrong
In the end it was the tech sharing link established between Mercedes GP and the prosthetics company, Touch Bionics, that brought the cost down to something we could shoot for.
We're still working hard to raise the £10K needed to meet the costs of Matthew's amazing hand.
