Apple Watch doesn’t work with the new app yet !!!

App was undergoing maintenance this morning, seems to be working fine now. No Mercedes me 2020 app for Android tho.

I keep on getting a lot of false messages from the 2020 version telling me my car is unlocked yet it isn't

DVLA will so won’t matter it won’t work the new owner will put his details in

How will the DVLA know about the app?
If the new owner isn’t interested in Mercedes Me and doesn’t subscribe they won’t know. If I don’t cancel would they be able to set this up in their own name.

It goes under the VIN number it’s easy t I’ll find out who owns the car. Plus I bought a e class and the services was in the previous owner but I used it till I renewed it in my name

If the car is sold through a MB dealer they will de-authorise access to the vehicle, thats what happened to my previous c class.

I had a MB “management car” that I picked up and returned to UK HQ at Tongwell. I did not remove the car from my app. As I had set up geofencing I was alerted when it moved to a storage airfield in Bedfordshire then a few weeks later when it went to a MB retail dealer in Birmingham. The next move was to Paisley Scotland where I believe it now resides with a fellow Forum member at this point I removed the details from my app as it’s was obviously with a private owner. So MB fleet at Tongwell had not removed it nor did the retail garage.

How would they remove it, if you don’t tell them you’ve sold it.
It could be sold privately or to a third party dealer

Think its removed when the new owner registers the car with the app/MB

I shud imagine that every car that has been sold the new owner downloads the APP. And register his or her details that overrides the previous owner. But if it’s got months left the don’t have too till it requires money to keep it going

My Apple Watch 5 has limited options with the new 2020 app, it will notify me car is unlocked but not give me an option to lock/unlock, my watch app is set to mirror my iPhone for notifications, there is no option to have the app as such on my watch.

The earlier version of MercedesMe app was on the watch but did not work at all.
