I remember seeing similar article some 20 or 25 years ago - Marlboro (the product itself, not the maker Philip Morris) was in pole position by some margin, followed by Coca Cola and then surprisingly for the era by Intel.

The catch being 'Premium' Automotive brand. Toyota isn't a Premium brand.

Glad to see that Coca Cola that soft drink beverage with an excellent record for freeing rusty bolts is still at the top.

Since the survey will be heavily biased by the US market [ Consumers par excellence ] the high places of Toyota and Honda will be heavily influenced by their Prestige sub- brands LEXUS and ACURA which will not be distinguished from their more lowly brethern/
