Out of interest, do you know what the latest version is for a C Class? Mine says option 531, NTG5.5 and shows V8 maps, is there a later version available?

Yes for NTG2.5 Comand as long as you comand software is newer than 2010.

I had mine updated about a month ago, and the latest version available was still 2016 version 8 on the ntg5.5.

They didn't update mine on Friday when it was in for a service, as the OP says, his was updated to 2016 version 8 on the ntg5.5 last month. Is that really still the latest version?
