Mercedes 'one button' key fob battery

hi guys, my battery on my key fob is kind of dying out. if i replaced the battery inside would it mean i have to reprogramme the key? or is it just simply replace it and go?

Just swap out the batteries. Nothing else required

replace it staright away and all will be fine once removed if left for a long time depending on key type it may need to be

if its a single button type and you have a mirror with red and green lights on it then

reprogram is easy point key at mirror and press and hold button for 5 seconds then put into slot 2 in barrel and count to 20 sec all done but you should be fine changing straight away
