Mercedes E class cabriolet (2017 67)
Hi can any body tell me if 20 inch s class alloy wheels part number (A2224010500) offset 9.5J and part number (A2224010400) offset 8.5 J with 275 30 20 and 245 35 20 tyres fit a E class 2017(67) cabriolet please thanks Adie

Adie, 9.5J is not the offset it's the width. The offset is ET example ET45.
8.5 and 9.5 wheels will fit an E class, but depends on the offset, and those tyres are not correct either.

According to the company that sells these OE alloys, they won't fit an 2017 E class Cab.

Other Compatible Vehicles

These 20" AMG Multi Spoke Wheels are also available to fit the AMG models listed below.

Click a link to configure and buy:

The correct tyres for those alloys are 245x40x20 fronts and 275x35x20 rears. They have an ET38.

The correct alloys for your E class are 8j and 9j with an ET43 front and ET49 rear

Hi don’t e class alloys crack or buckle easier

Hi don’t e class alloys crack or buckle easier
Well mine are 7 years old and haven't cracked yet.
AMG wheels in general aren't the best with our pothole ridden roads. Shouldn't be any difference between the quality of E and S class wheels.

Do you know anybody got any of these for a reasonable price thanks

Why would they?
Generally AMG wheels will often be wider, and fitted with low profile tyres.

The low profile leaves much less ‘cushioning’ before the rim hits the pothole/bump due to low sidewall. (Impact damage)

The wider wheel will often get cracks on the inside edge, due to it being further from the support of the spokes. (Fatigue/stress cracks developing)

It is quite well known amongst S211 owners (and those that service vehicles and wheels) that 18" are prone to cracking due to the slim profile of the sidewall. 17" is the optimum balance between handling, comfort and longevity.

The bigger the wheel and the smaller the tyre sidewall the greater the chance of a cracked or buckled wheel (and generally a ruined tyre to go with it). You would be unlikely to have a problem with 17 inch or smaller, quite unlucky with 18s, 50/50 with 19s and it's when not if on 20s and above. Of course the state of the roads that you drive on will play a big part.
