Mercedes SEC water leak in the boot.

Hi All,

I’m looking for recommendations for getting my Mercedes 1992 SEC water leak fixed in the boot.
When it rains I get water on the boot carpet just under the parcel shelf.
Looking for someone who would specialise in this area.
I’m told the rear windscreen may need to come out and may need re-seal. There is also some rust under the parcel shelf that needs sorting out.
Looking for recommendations closer to west London and Surrey.

Its a well known weakness with the SEC. Usually involves some metal welding / panel replacement in addition to glass seals and trim. It was well visually documented in Jaymanek's wide body SEC project- Unfortunately the images in the thread appear to have gone?

Had tis on both my wifes 500 sec back in the day. As said it comes in via the back window seal to start with and if left for years (as they all have now) will lead to the metal frame rusting resulting in a fair bit of welding once you get the glass out.

Appreciate that, I tried calling them and it keeps saying number no longer available and even tried emailing them and the email has also come back with delivery failure, you wouldn't have any other number for them would you?
