Haven't used it.

But keep in mind that this is not a full A or B service, just an oil and filter change. The full A/B schedule involves additional checks.

MB worked-out that many owners of older cars no longer adhere to the A and B service schedules and simply carry-out a basic oil and filter change once a year. It is this market that MB have been trying to corner for some time now.

Additionally, when owners bring their cars in for routine servicing, other items may get flagged-up.

These includes scheduled items (other filters, fluids, etc) and wear items (brakes, exhausts, etc).

I am nor sure is MB would then quote for these at their standard rates or perhaps they have a reduced rate for older cars.

In short, I personally prefer to have the full A/B service carried-out by a trusted specialist, then suffice with MB's basic oil and filter change.

In my opinion, for an older car, the Service Care Plan is a much better value for money, as all additional items are included, so you don't have to worry about spark plugs, or ATF, or fuel filter, etc, etc.

Two points worthy of note
