I was liking this in white, until I got to an interior pic - blue....urgh!

Mercedes do seem to come out with some odd colour combinations...does anyone like the blue? I think it would give me a headache....

Crikey that's vivid...
I've turned down some E class because of blue interiors and they are nowhere near as bright as that.

Salesman - "how can I help you sir?"

Customer "I'd like a car that will lose the most amount of money possible in the shortest time please"

Salesman - "Arrr well can I intrest you in this large petrol engined C Class with cloth interior, manual gearbox and in white"

Customer " Thats perfect"

Salesman "good luck sir and please don't come back hoping that we'll part exchange it when you come to sell"

I haven't seen the MB blue interior in the flesh, and from the pics/way my PC is set up its a bit sickly but I've seen worse.

My old man had a Porsche 968, silver paint work, PINK roof and matching interior. its was vile and I never want to think about the pink porsche again. That C class is tasteful compared to some cars, like the Pink Porsche (dammit, its coming back to me now)

My old W202 had exactly the same interior colours. Truely horrible.

ChrisWT - spot on mate.

This car is a pig and whoever spec'd it needs to be shot asap!

Bit scarey first thing on a Saturday morning.... I have a personal dislike for coloured steering wheels and dash-tops... after all you can get away with quite "striking" seat colours because you don't really see them when driving but I couldn't face that ocean of baby blue right in front of me... bad for windscreen reflection too...

The blue looks (to me) a bit tacky and cheap. I just could not live with that, and I would be embrassed to take passengers, you say you own/drive a merc, they expect to see quality and luxury. The blue does not say that to me....
Although my bro's ex TE had blue it was dark and it seemed to suit it, but was never as bad as that!

I like white!

I think it looks really good when clean & shiny. With a black or tan interior it's lovely. I had a 190E 2.0 Sportline with a black leather interior that looked (& ran) great. I got more compliments from complete strangers over that car than just about any other Merc I've owned. Women seemed to like it. Either that or I was going through a phase of looking particularly good at that time. :p

However, white & blue, especially that much blue, is one of my least favourite combos. A really cold look.

Anything with "porno" red interior is a huge no-no for me.

My nightmare combo would have to be white with a porno red interior

My first W211 was tealite blue, and had the exact same interior. It was like driving a smurf.

Was written off within a few months. But yes, the interior is very distracting and not at all pleasing on the eye.

My 220te had a blue check interior... very comfy but with blue carpets and blue dash it looked a little..........dated and ever just a little BLUE....

Why do they do it? Someone must have thought "Oh this is a good idea, a blue interior, someone will love that" (Maybe a blind man!):)

They may think that by being different the car will be more desirable come trade in. There is a reason why these garish interiors are unpopular

However I am glad MB offer it for those 1 in 1000 that really have awful taste.

I have a W124 which is midnight blue on the outside and dark blue interior, i like it as its very blue and my favourite colour. Does that make me blind?
